About Us
Founder | Filmmaker | Video Producer
- Jimi Xiao is a filmmaker and video producer with more than 20 years of experience in television, commercial production, live events, and wedding filmmaking.
- He currently works as a Video Producer at Hawaii News Now (HNN), producing content for HI Now Daily, including on-location filming, interviews, lighting, audio, and post-production.
- Jimi began his career in China producing concerts and live productions before moving to Los Angeles in 2013, where he worked in television production at HCTV. Since moving to Honolulu in 2017, he has produced hundreds of weddings, commercials, corporate videos, live events, and broadcast stories.
- In 2020, he founded Hui Legend LLC and Reality Show Weddings, bringing his television and multi-camera production experience into cinematic wedding and commercial filmmaking.
Professional Production. Built-In Backup
- Every production is planned with reliability in mind. We use professional 4K/6K camera systems, 32-bit audio recording, multi-camera coverage, and redundant backup workflows to protect the moments that cannot be repeated.
- For live productions, we test and rehearse critical video and audio systems before going live. For interviews, camera, lighting, and audio are prepared and tested in advance.
- Our philosophy is simple: solve problems on location whenever possible — not in post-production.
- As an FAA-certified Part 107 Remote Pilot, Jimi also provides professional aerial cinematography when location and conditions permit.
